Employment Opportunity - Seasonal Part Time Operator

(Staggered weekend shift)

The Municipality of Hastings Highlands is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Part-time Operator.  Reporting to Operations Supervisors and /or Operation Manager, the successful candidate is responsible for winter maintenance and operation of the municipality’s road system.

This is a unionized part-time position with a collective agreement between The Municipality of Hastings Highlands and Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE Local 1306.7)

The successful candidate must have a valid class DZ or AZ (preferred) drivers licence. Also must have minimum of 3 years highway snowplowing experience.

Employment Opportunity - Rink Attendant

The Municipality of Hastings Highlands is currently accepting applications for rink attendant for Lake St. Peter and Maynooth outdoor rinks (Seasonal Contract Position). Interested applicants must  have  a  valid  Ontario  driver’s  licence. Applicants must have the ability to perform manual labour, be mechanically inclined and be comfortable working in an outside environment.

Contract to commence December 15, 2017 to March 15, 2018
