Pay a Bill

Hastings Highlands is pleased to offer additional online payment options. Customers are now able to pay any Accounts Receivable invoices online at most financial institutions via Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT).

To add the Municipality as a payee, customers will require a Customer Number and Invoice issued by the municipality. Search for “Hastings Highlands” (it will have Accounts Receivable or AR attached to our name). This is a different setup than online property tax payments.

Additionally, online credit card payments are now being accepted for Accounts Receivable items as well. Use the “My Account” option on the homepage of our website (www.hastingshighlands.ca) to register. Select “Pay Other Items” and then “Pay Invoice”.

NOTE: Credit card payments will require a Customer Number and Invoice issued by the Municipality. This is a different setup than online property tax payments. Credit card payments will incur a convenience fee of $0.35 per transaction plus 3% of the total amount paid to the Municipality, collected by a third-party payment processing system.

Please speak to a municipal staff member if you are interested in paying fees online so they can get you properly setup.

After hours you can drop your cheque in the drop off box located to the left side of the front entrance of the Municipal Office.

Can be made online through My Account – we are not able to accept credit card payments at the office.

Set up “Municipality of Hastings Highlands”, or your bank may have us set up as “Hastings Highlands Taxes” as a PAYEE, then use your Roll # as your Account #

For on-line payments please use My Account.

This can be to look at a current property tax bill or to set up e-billing.
Tax payments and Accounts Receivable payments can also be processed through your account.

Please complete and remit a copy of the Municipality’s Preauthorized Payment Plan Form.
