Tax Certificate

A tax certificate is generally purchased by lawyers dealing with property sales or when a mortgage is being approved for a property. This certificate includes ownership information, tax status, utility status and local improvement fee information. The fee is $65.00.

Compliance Letter Requests

A Zoning Compliance Letter is a request submitted to the Municipality to confirm the zoning of a property and if there are any applications under the Planning Act for a property. The fee is $100.00.

A Building Compliance Letter is a request submitted to the Municipality to confirm if there are any active or inactive building/septic permits or work orders on file for a property. The fee is $110.00.

A Septic Search will only include septic documents in the roll file. The fee is $50.00

A request for Compliance Letters shall be submitted by the owner or the solicitor acting on a sale.
