Upcoming Projects and Road Work in 2025

Revitalization of Mink Lake Road

Work will take place from Highway 127 to Dam Road extending roughly 9.1kms. This project is due to begin early spring and continue until end of August. More details to follow soon.

Pulverization of River Road

Work will extend roughly 5.4kms. More details to follow soon.

Pulverization of New Carlow Road

Work will take place from East Loop Road to The Township of Carlow/Mayo boundary, extending roughly 2kms. More details to follow soon.

South Baptiste Lake Road - 2024 Capital Project

About this Project

Hastings Highlands Council and Staff are pleased to inform you about the Capital Road Project on South Baptiste Lake Road, extending from “Y” Road to Clarke Road. This project will involve a series of improvements including roadside brushing, culvert replacement, pulverizing of the existing road surface, and resurfacing.

The Municipality will strive to provide advance notice of any service disruption or construction impact to residents, businesses and visitors alike

Impact on Traffic and Travel:

Brushing and Removals:  Continuing into Spring 2025, trees along the corridor will be brushed and certain trees will be selectively removed as required.

Shoulder Improvements:  Continuing into Spring 2025, shouldering will be completed.
