DECLARATION OF SIGNIFICANT WEATHER EVENT

I, Denver Mayhew, Operations Manager, am declaring an official end to the Significant Weather Event that was issued on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 1:00p.m.

Declaration End Date: February 18, 2025                Time: 9:00a.m.

After monitoring the situation closely, we are pleased to inform you that the significant weather event has now passed. Conditions have returned to normal, and any immediate threats have been alleviated. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary.

Please note: Although the significant weather event has now concluded and our team has worked diligently to clear the primary roads, please be advised that additional work is still ongoing. Efforts to fully clear all areas of snow and ice are continuing. We ask for your patience and understanding as we ensure that all roadways and sidewalks are made safe and accessible for the public.

The Municipality of Hastings Highlands would like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation during this time.
