Fireworks
As per the Municipality's Noise and Fireworks Bylaw, no person shall set off any Fireworks except:
- On Fridays and Saturdays;
- Between dusk and 11:00 p.m.;
- From June 20th to Thanksgiving Weekend (Monday); and
- Includes Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day and News Year's Eve
- No person shall set off any Fireworks when there is a Fire Ban in effect
Prohibited Use of Flying (Sky) Lanterns
Flying (Sky) Lanterns are prohibited within the Municipality of Hastings Highlands.
During a fire ban, report the use of fireworks/flying lanterns to the Hastings Highlands Fire Department. If it is an emergency, dial 911.
