HASTINGS HIGHLANDS COUNCIL APPROVES 2024-2027 STRATEGIC PLAN

Maynooth, ON – At the April 17, 2024 Council Meeting, Hastings Highlands Council approved the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. Council’s Strategic Plan is a roadmap for success, designed to guide decision-making and investments this term of Council, ensuring decisions made today set the course for the community’s future.

The plan includes guiding principles and corporate virtues that will influence future decisions and actions. It also includes four strategic priorities and specific actions and deliverables under each. The four strategic priorities are:

Ensure Financial Stability
Rationalize Infrastructure
Build Our Community
Cultivate Exceptional Service and Governance

“The Strategic Planning process has been instrumental in establishing Council’s priorities, action items and deliverables that will strengthen and enhance the future Hastings Highlands. Thank you to Council for their leadership and dedication throughout the strategic planning process,” said Mayor Tony Fitzgerald.

The lifespan of this Strategic Plan goes until 2027, past the current term of Council, to provide adequate time for the next term of Council to determine their Strategic Plan process. Council will receive a detailed report on the status of the strategic plan annually.
