Take Notice that pursuant to the Bylaw 2020-060 Sale of Municipal Surplus Lands, the Corporation of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands proposes to enact a Bylaw pursuant to the Municipal Act to declare the following lands surplus to the Municipality’s needs:

i. Part of Lot 15, Concession 5, in the Geographic Township of Bangor as in QR275991; (being Assessment Roll No. 129019101505300);

ii. Part of Lot 64, Concession West of Hastings Road, in the Geographic Township of Herschel as in QR163184 SRO & QR102824 (being Assessment Roll No. 129027801002790)

iii. PCL 3-1 SEC Herschel-16; Part of Lot 3, Concession 16, in the Geographic Township of Herschel being Location M. J. 250 (being Assessment Roll No. 129027801046900)

iv. Part of Lot 7, Concession 1, being Part 10, HSR227, in the Geographic Township of Herschel; T/W QR137337 (being Assessment Roll No. 129027801505910)

v. Part of Lot 4, Concession 2, being Part 1 on 21R-25331, in the Geographic Township of Herschel (being part of Assessment Roll No. 129027801507750)

vi. Part of Lots 3 and 4, Concession 2, being Part 4 on 21R-25331, in the Geographic Township of Herschel (being part of Assessment Roll No. 129027801507750)

vii. Part of 6, Concession 5, in the Geographic Township of Herschel, East & South of Road Allowance along Baptiste Lake except QR336862 (being part of Assessment Roll No. 129027801512650)

Maps showing the properties under consideration are available on this webpage and may be inspected on application to the Clerk undersigned. Please reference Bylaw 2024-077.

And Further Take Notice that Council shall hear any person who wishes to comment on the proposed declaration of surplus land; such person may do so by:

a) Appearing in-person at the Council Meeting, and advising the Chair when the public is asked for verbal or written representation on the matter; or

b) Appearing virtually at the Council Meeting by calling or emailing the Clerk no later than 9:00 a.m. on November 19, 2024. It is the responsibility of the interested party to have technology in place to connect to the meeting. Please reference Bylaw 2024-077; or

c) Delivering any written comments to the Clerk of the Municipality before the date the subject matter is to be considered by Council. Please reference Bylaw 2024-077.

The proposed Bylaw 2024-077 shall be heard at a meeting of Council in the Council Chamber at the Municipal Office on the 20^th day of November, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
