Hastings Highlands Extends Closures to All Buildings, Facilities, Playgrounds and Outdoor Recreation Spaces to May 4, 2020
Maynooth, ON – Following the lead of the Province of Ontario, all Hastings Highlands buildings, facilities, playgrounds and outdoor recreation spaces will remain closed for public entry until at least May 4th, 2020.
This extension is being made on the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health. As this date comes closer, the decision will be re-evaluated based on the Province of Ontario and public health advice.
We need every Hastings Highlands citizen to continue to do their part to slow the spread of COVID-19. Please stay home as much as possible and keep your distance from others if you must go out.
Stay home, stay safe, lives depend on it.
Please note that all Hastings Highlands waste sites are open and operating under normal hours of operation. To help control the bear population please do not illegally dispose waste at the gates during non-operating hours. Those caught illegally dumping will be prosecuted.
