Notice of Public Information Centre Reconstruction of Highway 62

Between Old Hastings Road and Young Street in Maynooth

The Municipality of Hastings Highlands (Municipality) is in the process of reconstructing the portion of Highway 62 that runs through Maynooth. The work is currently in the preliminary design phase and the Municipality would like to invite the public to comment on the project.

The project aims to renew the roadway, including asphalt, curbs, parking, and sidewalks. The storm sewer system will also be repaired or replaced where necessary.

Information display boards will present the following:

• Back ground information;
• Overall plan;
• Sample cross sections; and,
• Options currently under consideration.

You are invited to attend a public information centre, which has been scheduled as follows:

Maynooth, Ontario, K0L 2S0 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.

Public participation is encouraged and the Project Team will be available to answer questions and receive feedback and suggestions. Comment forms will also be available.
