Take Notice that The Corporation of The Municipality of Hastings Highlands proposes to enact a Bylaw pursuant to The Municipal Act, S. O. 2001, Chapter 25 to stop up, close, declare surplus to the Municipality’s needs the following parcels of land:
- Parts of the Original Shore Road Allowance in front of Lot 30, Concession 6, being Parts 1 and 2 on Reference Plan 21R-26541, in the Geographic Township of Herschel, now in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands
(Currie, 136 Baptiste Lake Shore West, Baptiste Lake).
- Parts of the Road Allowance between Lots 50 and 51, Concession West of Hastings Road, being Parts 5 and 6 on Preliminary Reference Plan dated October 13, 2023, in the Geographic Township of Herschel, now in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands
(Hale/Stone-Hale, North Baptiste Lake Road)

- Part of the Original Shore Road Allowance in front of Lot 30, Concession 6, being Part 1 on Reference Plan 21R-26541, in the Geographic Township of Herschel, now in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands
(Currie, 136 Baptiste Lake Shore West, Baptiste Lake)
- Parts of the Road Allowance between Lots 50 and 51, Concession West of Hastings Road, being Parts 5 and 6 on Preliminary Reference Plan dated October 13, 2023, in the Geographic Township of Herschel, now in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands
(Hale/Stone-Hale, North Baptiste Lake Road)
A copy of the Reference Plans showing the portions of the shore road allowance and road allowance under consideration may be inspected on application to the Clerk undersigned.
And Further Take Notice that Council will give consideration to written comments that are provided to the Municipal Clerk, and to any person who claims that his/her land will be prejudicially affected by the proposed Bylaw and to any other member of the public who applies to be heard at a meeting of Council which will be held for that purpose in the Council Chamber at the Municipal Office on the 6th day of December, 2023 at the hour of 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
